I am extremely honored to accept this generous invitation as the next editor-n-chief of the SIGCHI Bulletin. Since its transition from the SIGSOC Bulletin over two decades ago, the SIGCHI Bulletin has been the flagship source of community news and events for the SIGCHI membership.

Over the years, the Bulletin has attracted a distinguished list of editors including Ann Janda, Peter Orbeton, Bill Hefley, Steven Pemberton, Joseph Konstan, and Jonathan Arnowitz. It is a great privilege to follow this lineage of dedicated and talented editors.

The Bulletin has proven remarkably resilient, transitioning from a quarterly publication, to a print-oriented newsletter, and now to an e-newsletter and community website. I am committed to ensuring that the Bulletin continues to meet its mission of facilitating communication between SIGCHI members and the Executive committee and that it continues to evolve in a way that best serves its readership.
